Pan, Greek God Statue
Rooted in Arcadian mythology, Pan appears in works like the Homeric Hymn to Pan (circa 1200 BCE) as a playful yet fearsome figure. He would roam the forests and mountains while playing his signature panpipes, which he crafted from reeds to woo the nymph Syrinx.
This Greek god of shepherds, meadows, and forests is a rustic deity known for his half-human, half-goat form, complete with horns, pointed ears, and cloven hooves. Revered as a protector of nature and a symbol of untamed freedom, Pan’s dual nature—both jovial and chaotic—captured the Greek imagination, often linked to fertility and the raw energy of the wilderness.
Pan brings an earthy, whimsical charm, infusing spaces with ancient revelry and a connection to nature’s untamed spirit. This small statue is cold cast bronze and arrives in a gift box.
